UCL Institute of Education

Since last March, IOE colleagues have developed many resources for teachers, parents/guardians and children during this time, especially whilst schools are closed.

For teachers

The most recent addition is a free online course for teachers, to support them in delivering online and blended learning.

Run in collaboration with FutureLearn, the course is relevant to teachers in primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities.

It provides a grounding in online teaching and how to incorporate various digital tools and resources into lessons, from screencasts to forums, polls and quizzes.

Other ways the IOE is responding to the coronavirus pandemic

In the meantime, we continue our COVID-related research and to apply our expertise to pressing policy questions, not least how to assess pupils in the current context.
