We are the UK’s largest university-based centre for research, teaching, development and innovation in education leadership, the UCL Centre for Educational Leadership will be delivering all six NPQs with our delivery partners across the country.
UCL and our delivery partners have drawn on leadership professional learning expertise to design the current programmes ensuring they are informed by research and practice. We will have an NPQ suited to you. Click here to find out more on our NPQs that we are delivering.
Please register with the DfE by 21 January 2022 and select UCL Institute of Education as your provider. Once registered, a short UCL application form will be sent to all applicants who should return it within 5 days of receipt. Designed for teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading the development of other teachers in their school.

Designed for teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading behaviour and/or supporting pupil wellbeing in their school.

Designed for school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities.
NPQ Headship
Designed for school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a headteacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school.

Designed for school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, an executive headteacher or a school trust CEO with responsibility for leading several schools.

This free three-week teaching course aims to support teachers’ own innovations in teaching and learning online. Available on Futurelearn, the course is run by teaching experts at the UCL Institute of Education.
