This autumn we’re launching a new event series, ‘What if… radical and inspiring ideas for alternative education futures’. We want to tackle some of the most enduring challenges facing our education system, including how it can better support social mobility, how we can overcome the divide between academic and vocational pathways, and how we can make teaching the number one career choice. In association with TES, the free events will each assemble a fantastic set of speakers, who have been tasked with bringing some fresh thinking to these issues. We hope that you’ll join us in the debate!

The UCL Institute of Education is committed to driving innovation in education research and pedagogy, working closely with schools to ensure our work leads to transformative educational experiences in the classroom and beyond.
